Living in Calgary makes it pretty easy to get out to the mountains. My goal for this summer is to do that as much as I possibly can. I’m not a huge fan of the gym so I like to get my exercise from hiking and climbing and other fun activities. I Just recently went on a hike with a group my friend Amy Victoria started called Hike 365. It’s a way to get girls who are interested in hiking together. It was really fun and there is something about reaching the end of a hike that is really rewarding!
This is an outfit that is a little on the casual side so it’s perfect for mountain adventuring. Not quite suitable for hiking but you get the idea. I picked this dress from American Apparel because it’s plain, so it’s easy to style with multiple items and also because the fit is awesome. I paired it with my military style button down from Aritzia and my favourite brown boots. I also added this beautiful necklace that is a collaboration between CoutuKitsch and NorthBirchGrove . It’s a resin coated pendant featuring the original photography of Amy Victoria Wakefield and is also hand crafted by her.
