Lately I’ve been trying to be really conscious of the new pieces that I add to my wardrobe. I own a lot of clothing that doesn’t get worn very often and I even have some items that I’ve never worn at all. I think it comes down to my mind set when i’m purchasing new items. Sometimes I find myself getting excited about new things and not really thinking about their wearability. I’m trying to make a conscious effort to stick to clothing items that I know I will get a lot of wear out of.
This Shirt dress by Lovestitch is a great addition to my wardrobe. It’s casual enough to wear everyday and the dark navy colour makes it very easy to match with footwear and accessories. It’s also made from a really soft and comfortable material.
I wanted to keep this look nice and simple.I kept the accessories to a minimum and just added this ring by Shade of a Bonsai for some extra detail.

This shirt dress is so classic! I bet it’d look awesome with some leopard print shoes or tights – or pretty much anything since it’s so versatile. I really like it styled with the black tights and brown shoes and belt. These neutrals all look so good together.
