Being so close to the Rocky Mountains is a very large perk of living in Calgary AB. It’s always fun and refreshing to spend a day out in the mountains surrounded by all of natures beauty. I recently decided to take a trip out to Johnston Canyon in Banff. I’ve never been there before and i’ve always wanted to check out the water falls. It’s quite a breathe taking sight, especially this time of year because they are frozen!

Hey, we are heading to the mountains next weekend, how was that hike? Some websites are saying it’s pretty icy and to have ice cleats. Did you have any trouble there or was it okay?
It’s really mellow, it was pretty icy but I wore sorrels and I was fine!
