This past weekend Tyrell and I went on a road trip to Waterton Lakes Alberta in the very luxurious Lincoln MKZ. I’ve lived in Alberta all my life but there is still so much of it that I haven’t explored and it was great to check a new place off my list! We stayed at the lovely Waterton Glacier Suites and we spent the weekend exploring the area, hiking and relaxing. Waterton is a beautiful place and I highly recommend checking it out if you haven’t already.
Waterton is only three hours from Calgary but that can feel like an eternity if you are uncomfortable. The 2017 Lincoln MKZ is hands down the most comfortable car i’ve ever ridden in. I’m used to heated seats but the massage feature takes comfort to a whole other level! We went on a hike up to Lake Bertha the day before we left and I’m not going to lie I was pretty sore. The added comfort features in the car made the ride back that much better.
The Revel Audio sound system was another one of my favourite features in the car. It ensured that we had an awesome Tegan and Sara sing along the whole drive there… at least I did anyways. Another awesome feature of the MKZ that I loved, was the adaptive cruise control. It adjusts your speed to the traffic ahead so you can keep the car in cruise mode and that is really awesome when it comes to highway driving!
The car is ultra sporty while still maintaining a high level of comfort and luxury. We could navigate the winding mountainous roads with confidence, thanks to the adaptive suspension and all wheel drive. Make no mistake this isn’t your grandpa’s car!
I want to give a huge thanks to the Lincoln Motor Company for providing us with the perfect road trip experience in the MKZ!

What a fun (and beautiful) trip to take at this time of year, Jocelyn! We’ve visited Waterton in the past, but only in the summer. Roadtrips are always much better when you have room and comfort in the car — heated heats with built in massage?! Yes please! Beautiful photos, as always. 🙂
Awe thanks Justine! They really are! It’s such a beautiful place!
Love Waterton, I went for the first time a couple of years ago and there was so much wildlife wandering around it town.
Ya it’s such a cool place I definitely want to go back!
