This past weekend I had the pleasure of attending Ride the Roof, a spin class fundraiser for two awesome organizations, TreeEra and Love for Lewiston. The event took place on top of the Marriot Hotel in downtown Calgary. They managed to fit 100 bikes up there which was no small feat! The weather was awesome, and the music was blasting, there was just so much energy and excitement on that roof! Knowing that it was all for two good causes made it that much better. I haven’t been to a spin class since I was kid, so I wasn’t really sure what to expect. Needless to say, I had a great time and got a great work out! I might even have to look into taking some more spin classes in the future!
TreeEra is an organization that is committed to combating climate change. They help individuals and businesses reduce their carbon footprint by community funding the planting of trees.
Love for Lewiston is a family run organization who’s committed to raising funds and awareness for Spinal Muscular Atrophy.
The event was sponsored by Lululemon, who provided these awesome Love for Lewiston tanks for everyone to wear! They were also very kind to outfit me in a pair of leggings, and a top to wear to the event!
Hey lovely, this is Rae from Boss Babes! This looks like such an incredible experience! I would love to do a spin course on a roof!
