Now that it’s officially summer, I’ve taken all of my favourite skirts out of storage to wear again. Lately i’ve been trying to mix and match some of my recent purchases with old favourites. This way I can create new looks without totally breaking the bank. Things have been tighter financially due to the pandemic, and it’s caused me to re-evaluate some of my spending habits. It’s important to find items that complement what’s already in your wardrobe, that way you don’t need to buy an entirely new outfit every time you go shopping. That being said, the only new item in this look is the top from Free People. It’s a neutral colour and I knew that it would pair easily with a few other items that I already owned. I styled it with this faux leather skirt that I got last year from Urban Outfitters. I love how the skirt adds a bit of edge to the look and balances out the softness of the top.
