It snowed quite a bit in Calgary over the past few weeks, and it’s turned my favourite park into a beautiful winter wonderland! Naturally I had to dust off this old wool coat and take some photos! I’ve had this coat for a few years now and it’s held up really well! I suppose that’s the benefit of investing in good quality pieces. One of my goals for this upcoming year is to spend less money on clothing, as well as other items that don’t fall into the essential category for me. I’m going to try and style some of my old favourites in ways that are fresh, and that I haven’t done before. I know it’s not realistic to say that i’ll quit buying new clothing altogether because honestly I just don’t want to. I think scaling back my shopping is the perfect compromise, it will help me save money, while allowing myself to buy the things that I really want every now and then.
